I have always had an understanding with dogs even when they weren't our own. I understand that a dog has needs and can look to accommodate them. Growing up in Arizona with multiple dogs really teaches you how to interact with this very special animal and watching the puppies grow up and live successful lives (even if its only a fraction of ours) is a very special experience.
