I've had dogs my entire life. Growing up, I had a cocker spaniel, Tigger, named after Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, that lived to the ripe age of 15. From him, I learned how to love a dog deeply. When I moved out to Seattle and lived on my own, I adopted a senior (9 y/o) dog that I sadly had to send to doggy heaven at the end of July 2018. In taking a care of a senior dog, I've become comfortable administering all necessary medicines -- pills, injections, and any other medical care a senior dog might need. My little old man slept in my bed with me, as all dogs would be welcome to, with dog beds and nap spots set up around the apartment. Currently, I have a 15-month-old 6-lb shorkie, Roxie, who is the light of my life. Got her a month into quarantine, and she is such a good girl, loves kids and other dogs - big or small. I have a plethora of dog toys to play with, and take Roxie to Discovery Park daily to run around with other dogs and play fetch, or to stop and sniff every tree, bush, or patch of grass. I will give love to your dog as if he/she were my own. <3
