I've volunteered at shelters since i was 10, and I've owned dogs of all sizes my whole life (until this past year unfortunately) and worked at a shelter full time for about a year. I miss owning a dog and while I can't own one where I live, providing this service allows me to spend the time i miss working with dogs! At my own apartment, I have a balcony with a grass pad for small dogs to go potty, or they can be taken downstairs into the yard. I work super great with chihuahuas, pit pulls, and anything in between. I've even handled rowdy, aggressive dogs. If you have other animals, I can work with them too. Experience with birds, mice, cats, and whatever else you may have :)
