About this sitter: Hi! I'm Amber. I am 24 years old. I work at the ARC of St. Johns as an Behavior Assistant for the extended day program. I have four cats and a dog of my own. I have grown up around animals. I grew up being called the "Zoo Girl", you name it, I had birds, rabbits, fish, dogs, cats and lizards. Currently I have four cats and a dog of my own, Why I love dog/cat/pet sitting: I grew up around dogs and cannot imagine life without dogs. I have had an Pomeranian, an Lab mix, Pug, Lab, Saint Bernard, chihuahua and currently I live with the most adorable seven year old Pit Bull who does not think he is a dog. I walk my dogs daily. If not, Rex gets restless! I have given medication by mouth, ear drops and creams, and also in the ear. I have given baths to dogs who enjoy baths and dogs who HATE baths with a passion. I have also pet sit up to six dogs at once at my house. My current baby has separation anxiety and does not receive medication for it, but if your dog happens to have separation anxiety and requires medication, it will not be a problem for me. Meet my household pets! : I have two dogs and seven cats all together. I know I said I had four earlier, but in this house I live at, we have seven beautiful cats and two cute pups living here. They all get along as expected. The dogs are best buddies! Five of the cats are indoors only cats, meow! ;) The other two cats are much much older and have been indoor-outdoor cats their whole lives, they come in at night. It's a must! :) Purr-zzz. :) Our dogs sleep on our beds at night with us, on their beds during they day. Never our couches. *Whines*, I know! They are very spoiled and loved though! My experience administering medication: If I have questions about how to do it, I will be direct and ask you. I may only need to be shown once. You can show me as many times how to, until you feel confident with me. :)
