My name is Amber! I am 33 years old. I have been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born. I am currently the owner of an 12 year old Yorkie, an 11 year old Dutch shepherd, and a 1 1/2 year old pitbull/Heeler mix.

2 of my 3 dogs are reactive, so I’ve learned over the years that kindness and patience is key. I also only do things on their terms and never force uncomfortable or what they would consider “scary” situations for my dogs.
Information Amber M. would like to know about your pet
Is the dog reactive? Does it have any food allergies? Do I need to cross the street when other dogs/people are approaching in our direction on the sidewalk?
A typical day
If it’s okay with the owner, I do allow dogs to stop and smell the roses, since sniffing if a great stimulant for dogs. If there are any tricks (sit, stay, etc), I like to practice these as often as possible to keep a dogs mind working. I don’t usually ever go to dog parks, since my dogs personally do not receive any positive stimulants from them - just roaming around neighborhoods and parks are enough socializing for them.

Availability
I work from home, so I thankfully have the freedom to step away and walk dogs as I please. I also don’t have a fully packed schedule in my personal life, so that helps! My life is surrounded by taking care of my three dogs at home.
