Pet care experience
I have experience with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, ducks, and fish. Each one is lovable in their own way. Dogs bring happiness to those around them. Cats are amazing because no matter what, EVERY cat is unique. Chickens are just little bundles of feathers to cuddle with. Ducks are just like chickens with more style. If you haven’t seen a duck swim in a kiddie pool, you should! Fish are simple but can still bring a smile to your face. I LOVE ANIMALS. Animals bring me joy and I want to bring joy to your animals. Our large house is on 3 acres of land and includes: o 2 separate dog pens with 8 foot fencing all the way around o a dog room with a dog door leading into one of the pens o the other pen can be closed off but has a doghouse o 2 dogs. One male Husky and one female Husky. (neither is fixed but can be separated from guests) o 5 cats (all are fixed and front declawed. Can be separated from guests) o 3 hens and 5 ducks (all located outside in their own coop with attached run)

Writing this review pains me but it needs to be said. My dog, Gus, stayed with Amber and her family for six days and came home with two puncture marks and a swollen neck from the use of a perimeter collar. The collar was on long enough and tight enough to cause these injuries. We were never asked if they could put any corrective collar on him nor were we informed of him being injured until we found the wounds upon pick up. Amber and her family were extremely nice to me before this happened and we got plenty of videos of him playing around and seemingly happy. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and I hope the issue will be resolved for the future and health of every dog that stays.
Amber took great care of Roo! She sent lots of pictures of Roo playing and enjoying the big backyard. Amber also sent us daily updates and was flexible with drop off and pick up times!!
Rogan really enjoyed his vacation at Amber's and it was nice to be able to enjoy a weekend away without worry or guilt at leaving him with someone new. It was great to have a "get acquainted" visit so that we and Rogan could meet Amber and potential playmates. We would all recommend Amber highly and Rogan will be visiting her again for future "vacations". Five stars!

Please let me know if your dog has any training or if there is anything you would like us to work on. If they are in the dog room, they will be able to go outside to do their business at their own leisure. Or if they are needing help being kennel trained, I can work on that as well. If your dog has any special dietary needs, I would like you to inform me upon arrival otherwise you can leave a portion of your dog food with me and let me know their eating schedule. I also ask that you let me know if they have or are on any medications that need to be administered. Finally, please provide your vet information in case of any emergencies.
A typical day
When they come to stay with me they will be able to walk around our property and our neighborhood. We can play fetch, learn tricks, and even enjoy a nice night in front of the fire place.
