Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Amanda, a 35 year old momma who’s grown up with animals my entire life. I’m a proud mom to my 4 year old son and 2 year old rescue mutt. I’m looking for a fulfilling, yet flexible job, to help support myself and my babies outside of my regular career as a massage therapist. The amount of joy an animal can bring to your life is absolutely amazing and it's only fair that you bring as much joy into theirs. I have multiple years of experience with dog sitting. And have previously fostered for a rescue. Tasks including; feeding, walking, administering medications, belly rubs, and all the cuddling. I’m open to different breeds, but have previously worked with labs, puggles, boxers, terriers and husky mixes, among others. I would love the opportunity to provide your family members with the care and attention they deserve!

Amanda is amazing with any dog. Her patience is very impressive. She understands a pup’s needs and is very caring and compassionate. Every time she is with a dog she has their attention, and they listen! Amanda has an instant connection with any dog. I swear she is a dog whisperer! I highly recommend her! She is great!!!

I have a large back yard, in a fairly quiet neighborhood. With a dog of my own to keep yours company! Plenty of space for a round of fetch, or a nice area for a leashed walk. We’re also walking distance from conservation land with lots of wooded trails. My own dog is crate trained for when we’re not home, but has full access to the house otherwise. I do have an extra crate for your animal if needed!

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically. As I mentioned previously, I have a large back yard in a quiet neighborhood that we’re able to play in, as well as access to some wooded trails just minutes from my home. Allowing for a variety of textures and smells for your babies to experience!

I currently work part-time as a massage therapist. Mostly mid week days & evenings. I own a dog of my own so pet care is a daily routine already.
