Pet care experience
Hi I'm Amanda! I graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2019 and am currently a first year student at Cornell Vet School. I have spent 4 years working under various veterinarians and animal care providers in my community, earning over 500 hours of veterinary experience and an additional 400 hours of general animal experience. Not only do I know how to care for animals of all sizes, but I absolutely love doing so. I am a very energetic person, so long dog walks are likely just as beneficial for me as they are for your pup! In addition to any length of a walk I'm happy to stay with, check in on, and play with any age or size dog. I would love to get to know your furry family member :)

I would trust Amanda to be my dog sitter before anyone else!! Not only is she a responsible and caring human being, she has a lot of pet knowledge regarding training, health issues, and emergency situation protocol since she is a Cornell Vet student and has lots of experience assisting veterinarians. Amanda is a very reliable person as she juggles a busy social life, academics, jobs, and other extracurriculars in an organized fashion. She is trustworthy, kind, and excellent with pets as well as people. I highly recommend her!
Amanda is a hardworking and responsible veterinary student. She has cared for numerous dogs and puppies as a dog sitter for Canine Companions for Independence and has shown her dedication through service. Not only does Amanda have hundreds of hours of experience shadowing veterinarians, but as a pre-veterinary student, Amanda studied canine anatomy and physiology and was thoroughly prepared to be a dog caregiver.
