Amanda and I fostered a dog (Tessa) together while we were roommates and she is such a great responsible pet owner! She was always on top of feeding, walking, the basics, but also always went the extra mile to make our sweet girl happy. Whether it was letting Tessa sniff and pick out her own treats at the pet store, or spending hours brushing out her undercoat, Amanda always made sure Tessa had nothing less than the best care. She was especially good at balancing being a kind and understanding pet owner, and making sure Tessa didn't get into trouble. She was excellent at handling Tessa on walks, making sure there weren't negative confrontations with other dogs. Amanda was also very observant with Tessa (who liked to eat just about anything she found on the ground) and made sure she didn't ever eat anything harmful.
