Pet Sitter for all Animals
Pet care experience
*** I am currently away and not walking in Calgary for the time being. Thank you for your understanding *** As a current student enrolled at University of Calgary I am finishing up my forth year of my Pre-vet Science degree program with the intention to ultimately become a veterinarian. I have owned and cared for a variety of animals from small lizards to large horses. I have worked for 3+years at a local animal rescue/kennel keeping track of various animals as well as I have worked in many barns. I have done pet sitting/walking for a few years now with success. I also had to work in a fast-paced environment as goats will do what they want, when they want and worked in many different weather conditions. I also have spent the last year and a half fostering many dogs for a local rescue, from puppies to adult dogs to scared to feral. There’s not a pet that I haven’t been scared of and who hasn’t warmed up to me quickly. Most importantly, through all the animals I have cared for in my life, I have always put the animal's needs before my own.
Reviews
Amanda has been a wonderful, reliable and trustworthy dog walker & sitter for our big, lovable golden retriever. She provides amazing peace of mind knowing your fur baby is well taken care of!
Amanda gave my kitten essential medicine and I greatly appreciate this. Excellent service.
Amanda did an amazing job taking care of all 5 of my kitties. I got daily updates, tons of pictures and lots of videos, which was so appreciated. When I got home, everyone was happy and healthy. Thanks again Amanda!
We have had Amanda visit our cat multiple times and every time has been wonderful. She keeps our cat loved, fed and cared for while we are gone on both short & lengthier trips. She always ensures our cat gets lots of attention & pets!

Safety, trust & environment
When letting pets outside for potty breaks I either go outside with them or watch them to ensure nothing happens. When walking I typically use either a waist leash to ensure that the leash isn’t dropped or pulled from my hand.
Information Amanda E. would like to know about your pet
For walks I just ask to know if your dog is leash aggressive to other dogs so I know how to avoid putting them in that situation. Also any allergies as I do typically walk with treats which are typically freeze dried liver treats (mostly lamb, beef or chicken).
A typical day
Every dog will be taken for a walk upon visit even during a drop in visit. These walks normally occur in the area surrounding the house. I'm also willing to take the dogs to off leash parks as long as the owners permit it and I am comfortable enough with the dog to do so. I'm also willing to do in house doggy day care similar to that of babysitting a child.
