Pet care experience
I have over 15 years experience dog/house sitting. I am a special education teacher here in Santa Cruz county. I have teacher work hours-which is perfect for making sure your fur baby gets all the attention they need! I have a 8 yr old loving bloodhound and a 3 yr old Queensland healer mix. Our lives revolve around our dogs and we are a very active, young couple. Between our schedules our dogs are rarely left alone and yours wont be either! We are signing up for rover because we love dogs and want them to feel comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. Between the two of us your animals will be loved, spoiled, and rarely left alone.. They might also make two new furry best friends that they can hang with while you are gone! To ease any worry for the parents that have a challenging dog, I have a lot of experience dealing with behaviors such as a hard walker, anxiety, nervousness, aggression, medication, ect. I went to UCDavis and majored in animal science (but fell in love with the behavior side of things), was a vet tech for one year, and lived with a registered vet tech for 4 yrs (who I have on speed dial for doggie health questions). You have no need to worry when we are watching your baby(ies).

Alyssa watched my husky for a weekend. Huskies are known to be a difficult breed so I was a little nervous, but she did a great job reassuring me. She sent me videos, pictures and updates to help ease my mind. Thank you Alyssa!
It worked out great, she picked him up sent pictures of hip playing with the other dogs and sleeping and he was easy to pickup.

We also enjoy lounging around the house while the pup wrestle or snooze all they want (for those dogs who are a little more afraid of the crowded places). We both love to be outside so your dog will always have a stimulating day.
