I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teen and have had dogs with a variety of behavior issues. I’m familiar and can work with leash reactivity, territorial behaviors, and impulse control. I currently have a 2 year old rescue who had been very reactive and fearful aggressive, but has now become quite the gentleman after some intense training. I'm happy to provide training while on walks and doggy day care as well.

Alyssa is fantastic with our boxer mix, Rocky. She spends quality time with him, playing with him and giving him lots of love while we are away. She is also confident in taking him on walks, which Rocky loves. Rocky is strong and can sometimes react to other dogs on the trails, but Alyssa doesn't have an issue with him. This was our second time using Alyssa and we will definitely be using her again!
I’m so glad I found Alyssa. I feel at ease leaving him with her. She sends me updates with pictures of my boy Benny. I can tell how comfortable and happy he is in her care. He gets home all tired from his play dates😄
Alyssa in a knowledgeable dog carer and walker. She offers nice structure for easy-natured dogs and clear boundaries and direction for the little rascals out there! She has been wonderful for our territorial cattle dog and she’s very knowledgeable about working breeds. Professional, consistent, communicative. 10/10 recommend!

Let me know if your dog has any reactive behaviors, can be off leash, and is friendly with other dogs/people. And just general preferences your dog might have so I can make them as cozy as possible.
A typical day
I love taking my dog Buzz on hikes, bike rides, runs, and park play time! If your dog likes other dog friends, I can take them to off leash hiking spots and let them run/play around. Sometimes I like to just walk around downtown to give dogs exposure. If your dog prefers solo time, I can leave Buzz boy at home and give some individual attention to your fur baby.

Availability
I have a dog myself and work from home so can step out frequently. I can schedule in walks throughout the day with pockets of about 30 min. I usually take my pup out for hikes, runs, bike rides, etc for at least 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.
