Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals most of my life. I have always enjoyed being around them. I’ve always done pet care for my friends. I never want animals to stay inside a house or kennel all day if I can help it. Now I just purchased my own home and my work is fully virtual, I have even more time and space resources to devote to animals that need some tender loving care while the owners are away.
Reviews
Alissa handled my newly adopted dog very well and earned her trust. I appreciated the updates and pics and was able to enjoy my day away.
Alissa was wonderful! She made sure to give my girl lots of playtime and walks 😊
Alissa was patient with our dog when he took some time to adjust. He took lots of walks and loved playing with another dog she was watching. He also ate well with her - a good sign he felt comfortable at Alissa’s house.
Absolutely wonderful with my dog sawyer. Took him on plenty of walks and had lots of playtime. Will definitely be booking again

Information Alissa W. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful to know what kind of socialization level they have with other dogs. I have many dog parks around me and they are great places to have the off leash freedom and space to fetch. If your dog gets nervous around other dogs, I’ll be sure to modify our agenda accordingly.
A typical day
I think mental activity is just as important as physical activity. That means that we not only go on walks, but the dogs should have time to sniff everything. Sniffing works the brain while the walk works the body. I also like to do fun games with treats. I take a bunch of identical plastic cups and lay them too down over a large area. Under one cup, there is a treat. Not only do they have to sniff out the treat, but they have to use their nose or paw to move the cup in order to get the treat. Hide and seek is a great game as well. They have to smell you or hear you to find you.
