Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life around animals and have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 3. I’ve worked at a dog & cat boarding facility (Holiday Barn) for 3 years and even worked on a dairy farm and a sheep farm. The past 10 months, I worked as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital taking care of up to 40 boarded pets and 10 drop off patients daily. I’m currently applying to vet school as well.

Alison is awesome with animals of all kinds, but especially dogs. She takes her own dog, Millie, for adventures constantly and is a great caretaker (plus vet experience!) Millie is one of the most well-trained, well-exercised, and well-loved dogs I’ve ever met. Alison will take amazing care of any pet!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I need to account for. I have experience dealing with all types of behaviors, including anxious and dog-aggressive dogs and/or fractious cats. It is no problem at all.
A typical day
I can take your dog on walks, play fetch, or play mentally stimulating games with your active pets. I know of a couple different parks I can take your dogs that my dog loves! I can also love on and watch TV with them if you have less active pets who just like to cuddle :)

I am currently a part time student at Virginia Tech only taking one class a day, so I am very flexible. I am available every day of the week and most weekends.
