Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a life-long animal lover and received my Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care certificate in 2019. Having dogs my entire life, big and small (English Bulldogs, a Bichon Frise, Shih tzu, and Rough Collie), walking with them has definitely been my favourite bonding activity. All dogs need to stay physically active, but they also need mental stimulation from us as well! We all know life can get busy, and we don’t always get to take our furry friends out as much as we’d like. I’m willing to take your fur babies out for a stroll whenever they may need it, as well as give them some attention while their favourite person, you, is away. I am open to learning the needs of your particular pup and always do my best to fulfill those needs during walks/drop-in visits. I always keep note of details (preferences, food sensitivities, ect) and reference those when needed.

Excellent handling and relationship building with Willie. Allyson has done amazing job connecting with my dog, and he looks forward to his walks with Allyson each and every time.
Rudy was in very capable hands with Alison. Rudy has known her most of his life, so I’m sure he was very excited to see Alison, and very comfortable with her. She took great pics of Rudy, which she shared on the app. It was so nice to see those! It’s our first time using Rover. I love the check-in and I it feature that notified me when Alison arrived and left. I love that I could see the route taken too, on a map! I would definitely ask Alison to take Rudy for a walk again!

I would prefer to know beforehand their usual behaviour on the leash and if pulling is to be expected. No breed preference, however large breeds that are pullers are not a good combination for me.
A typical day
Location of walks can be discussed Am willing to practice whatever walk-related training you have in place for your pet (sitting before crossing the street, walking beside owner, etc). Just let me know! Always open to bringing a toy and incorporating some play if your pet enjoys it.

I work a part-time job in the pet industry outside of Rover, which means my schedule from day to day is subject to change. I always try to fit drop-ins and walks into my schedule the best I can!
