Pet care experience
I am a former Animal Care worker at the GBHS. As a staff member, I primarily worked in adoptions and kennels (walking, feeding, socializing, cleaning kennels). I’m also able to administer medicine including oral syringes and pills. I am very educated on puppy health as well. I will make sure to protect young puppies from parvovirus and keep them out of areas that may put them at risk. I can teach puppies basic commands and work on potty training as well. I am also experienced with cats, too. I have a genuine passion and love for all animals so I will be sure to keep your fur babies safe and happy while they are in my care! Alexis provided great care for my Surascia!! She came over every day for 3 days to give her insulin. Surascia really liked Alexis, and I will definitely use her again when the need arises!!
Honestly Alexis was AMAZING. I admit I was nervous about hiring someone I had only met once, but man was I surprised. She took good care of my care of my baby kitty for two weeks and my home. She sent regular updates and was always willing to answer my questions when I had them. My cat had a small wound that needed care, and it was healing well from her keeping it clean and applying antibiotic ointment. My home was cleaner than when I left it. I plan on hiring her again and again.
Alexis is the best pet sitter we've ever had. She walked the dogs daily, charmed them all, even the chihuahua, and was extremely conscientious.
Alexis did an amazing job , she went out of her way to exercise my dogs play with them and stay with them the entire time I was gone I have a lot of animals and she really did an amazing job with that , great communication while I was gone and she even sent me photos and updates the entire time ! I would highly recommend and will be using her again !!!

I do not have any specific breed preferences, however, I LOVE pit bulls! I would just like to know a bit about your dog’s personality. Is he/she nervous around new people? Food/toy aggressive? Protective? These are all things I am comfortable working with. I would just like to know before hand so that I can act accordingly.
A typical day
While your dog is with me, I will cater to its needs. For more energetic dogs, we can go to the park and go on walks. For calmer dogs, we can lay around and watch tv. Whatever your dog needs, I can do!
