Moved to London, miss my dog!
Pet care experience
6 years ago I finally persuaded my parents to get a dog after many years of trying... Unfortunely this was just before I left home (Northumberland) to start work in London... The one year I had at home with Skye, the Golden Retriever, made me incredibly happy. She now has an inseparable playmate, Dannie the rescue dog (also a Golden!). I love dogs. But now I have no dog. This makes me sad - so I hope to be able to share the love of others’ dogs while it is unrealistic/unfair for me to have my own. In the far future I would love to have the opportunity to follow my dreams and work with animals or do something like this on a more significant basis, but for now it’s enough to to simply get a taste.

Sasha loved her stay with Alastair! From the moment we had our pre-stay meet Alastair made me feel confident that he would be a good match for Sasha and take wonderful care of her. He has a natural and genuine love of dogs. He gave me daily updates with photos and I didn't worry at all about Sasha's safety or wellbeing. I would definitely recommend Alastair and use him again.
Alastair is amazing. Reggie had a fantastic weekend and being it was our first time boarding him for the weekend he put us at ease and kept us updated with how he was doing. Reggie had was shattered from his little holiday and clearly had a lot of attention and love. Alastair is really kind and approachable and met with us prior, and it was clear that Reg had quickly fallen in love with him and his partner. Will absolutely use him again. You’re dog is in safe hands and is guaranteed to have a fantastic time with Alistair.
Alastair was a great dog sitter! I appreciate how he kept me updated on my dog’s (Charlie) overnight stay with photos. He also walked Charlie several times so he came home happy and tired! Really happy with Alastair’s dog sitting and will definitely be rebooking with him!
