Pet care experience
Hello! I have always had pets growing up as a child (including dogs, cats, hamsters, and even turtles!) and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for taking care of pets and truly believe they are the best thing humans have created. I have taken care of my own dog Bruiser since he was adopted 8 years ago and have been fully responsible for teaching him tricks, potty training, and taking care of him when he needs to take medication. I now also have 2 young border collies who require lots of exercise and play time. I have also cared for other pets of friends and families via dog walking, house sitting, or boarding. Not only will I take care of your dog, I will provide them as much love and attention as possible! I love animals and look forward to meeting yours!

Alaria often watches my dog (and my cat) while I'm out of town. I can always rely on her to give them the attention and affection that they need!!
Ms. Saccuci has come by on several occasions to look after our 4 cats, 1 dog and 1 tortoise while my family takes vacations. She is reliable, honest and caring. Our animals have really come to know her and adore her. She’s really good with animals and it shows through her work. We have one cat who’s very skittish and hides, but she’s finally warmed up to Alaria and that makes us happy! We definitely recommend her!
Alaria did an amazing job at taking care of my dog, I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. My dog was extremely happy and comfortable with her I wouldn’t hesitate in leaving my dog with her again!

I live in a house with a big backyard and a small park across the street. If pets are in my home, they will have lots of space outside to run around and play and will get first dibs wherever they’d like to relax inside (couch, bed, etc). Cats are not allowed in my home simply because I don’t trust my border collies with them. At my client’s home, I can utilize anything they have and want to use for their pets.

I am willing to walk dogs of all sizes, but a big dog who likes to pull might be challenging because I am a small (yet strong!) human. Just give me a heads up so I know to be more alert with them. I will also help dogs if they need any medication or special treatment. My dog recently has needed to take lots of medication so I have experience in administering oral medication.
A typical day
For high energy dogs, I’d love to go on long walks or to the dog park to play ball or frisbee! At home, they will receive lots of belly rubs and cuddles.

Availability
I work as an EMT Saturday-Tuesday for 12 hour shifts so I am unable on those days. The rest of the days I am free!
