Pet care experience
I currently have a 7 month old sheltie named Jax who is always looking for a companion to keep him company! I have a 3 (soon to be 4!!) year old son who is with me 85% of the time. This is the 5th sheltie I’ve owned and we are expecting another one come Christmas time! I frequently watch my neighbors dogs and provide play dates at my home.

Aimee has watched our three little dogs for a week when we were on vacation. They interacted very well with her and loved it when she played ball with them and took them for walks. I wouldn't trust my doggies to anyone but Aimee.

I have a fenced in backyard with a large grass area and rock area. Inside my home I have a gate that is placed in the hallway near my sons room and office so that children toys, work, etc does not get ruined. Besides that, dogs have free roam of the house and are welcome on the couch as well! I do have a crate that fits my pup so if there is a need for a crate I will be glad to pick one up and have it available!

Any behaviors or needs that need to be recognized to keep my home safe! Food/toy aggression, separation anxiety, behaviors around small children,medication administration, special needs/diet, crate or no crate, potty trained
A typical day
We start our mornings early! Around 630am. We take a stroll around the neighborhood, to the grassy area and some times down to see the horses and donkeys. We come back to eat breakfast and the rest of the day consists of play, play, play!! And the occasional nap :)

Availability
I work from home full time as well as go to school online, so I am always home! My work is flexible so I am able to step away whenever it is needed. We are also up early every morning (around 630am) so morning walks are a routine and if I don’t have my son, we take late night walks as well! At least until it cools down a bit.
