Pet care experience
Hey everyone! I go by Ellie. I've always had at least one animal my entire life, but usually more. I have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, fish, and more! I love them all! I grew up taking care of dogs and cats by walking them, feeding them, playing with them, giving them medication, etc. I have taken care of 4 dogs and 3 cats at once so I am familiar and comfortable taking care of several animals. I also have experience introducing new animals together to make sure everyone can get along.

Adelaide is amazing! She watched my cat while I was out of town and sent me a bunch of pictures while she visited and played with him! Normally, when I come back home my cat is stressed, however, having his new friend Adelaide around made him really happy - like I never left! Thanks Adelaide!

I have a friendly dog and a cat in my apartment. I welcome any dog or cat to come stay with me as long as they get along with other dogs/cats. I can take your dog on walks throughout the day. I also have a fenced in dog park right next to my apartment building where I can take them to play or chase balls. I can accommodate a crate in my apartment if the crate is provided. If you do not want your dog on the furniture or beds I can easily accommodate that too. I am very flexible and can adjust to any of your pets wants/needs.

I would like to know as much as possible about your pet. Do they get along with other animals (cats, dogs, etc.)? Do they regularly go on walks and if so, for how long or how far? How do they do on the leash? Are they friendly with children? Do they guard their toys or bones? What is the animals' feeding routine, any medications they are on, etc.
A typical day
I can talk your dog on walks around the neighborhood, at parks, or even Umstead if they are used to hiking. There is also a dog park right next to my apartment where I can take the dogs to play with each other or play with a ball.

Availability
I am a law student working full-time from home so I have flexibility on my schedule. I usually take breaks throughout the day to take my dog outside or give her attention. I usually also take my dog on several walks a day. When it is bad weather there is a fenced in dog park at my apartment I can go to. Usually on the weekend I try to take my dog on at least one longer walk.
