Hi, I'm abi and I love animals!
Pet care experience
I have my own dog, a cockapoo called Lenny- he is my best friend and we do so much together! Previously I have walked multiple sized dogs in my area for family, friends and neighbours. I have also done some cat and rabbit sitting and done some day visits for dogs where I let them out and give them some dinner. I'm really hard working, I currently study at university and am living from home and am also an athlete so love exercising. I love animals and am so excited to meet some new animals friends 🐾 I am available on Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, Thursday morning and afternoon, Friday morning and afternoon. I can also do weekends but cannot commit to a regular routine on the Saturdays and Sundays! I study at university, work as a gymnastics coach for children as well as this I am a runner which is why my available times are specific! When looking after your pet in your home, I will follow instructions that you set and would like me to do for care - not only this but I will give them some love, cuddles and a little bit of play time!

Before I walk the dog I do prefer to meet both owner and dog, this is so I can know important information about your dog. This would include things such as any anxieties your dog may have, food intolerances, if they have a specific routine, where I would be able to find the dogs water bowl, lead and collar. As well as this it's important to know that you dog likes me and feels comfortable around me!!
A typical day
A typical day would involve an hours walk - I tend to do this around the owners house to make sure the dog is completely comfortable, if they are interested I will take a ball so that we can play some fetch. Each walk I try to make sure I take a different route - this keeps it interesting for them and keeps their minds busy with all the different smells! After the walk I bring them back home making sure they have enough water (and give them a treat if the owner has said they would like this). I usually don't leave until I know the dog is settled, had some cuddles and attention.
