Hi! I’m Abby. I’m a teacher during the school year, and animal-carer during the summer. I live with my fiancé, Ethan, and we tag team caring for pets! We love to meet different pets as they all have unique personalities and bring so much joy. We have dreams to own dogs someday, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. While little dogs have a special place in my heart, I have found so much joy from all different types and sizes of pets. I take on a pretty tolerant role as I care for pets—poop? No problem. Vomit? Cleaned up. There isn’t a mess I haven’t dealt with. I always pride myself on service and care to make sure that you and your furry friend are taken care of properly.

Abby was amazing with our 6 month old puppy. It was our first time away without her and she did great! Had lots of updates and photos from Abby the entire time we were gone! Will book again with Abby the next time we need a pet sitter !!!!
Abby was amazing with our senior cocker spaniel. She didn’t hesitate a bit in providing eye drops or pills to Diego. Also, she sent frequent updates and pictures and was quick to respond on our initial inquiry and all following inquiries. I will definitely use her again when in Fargo, if needed. Thank you Abby?

We’re pretty adaptable to having dogs in our home either crated or let out to roam the upstairs. While we don’t allow pets in our bed, we are totally fine letting pets chill on our couch to cuddle. We don’t have a fenced in yard, but we love short walks every couple hours as well as a long walk or two tossed in the mix.

We’re adaptable to any pet, but it’s always nice knowing some basic information. We like to know how the dog typically does in a new environment, what their typical feeding schedule is, what the dog’s activity level is, and how the pet typically goes to bed each night (kenneled? in bed? in a dog bed?)

We try to adapt our activity to the dog’s level and needs. Typically, we love taking dogs for walks, playing with toys, cuddles, and other activities.

Availability
I work full-time from August to May during weekdays, so during those months I try to provide as much love and care before and after work. Luckily, Ethan gets a nice lunch break as well as some works from home days where he’s able to go home and play with the dogs. Weekends for us are typically free and we love having pets to occupy our time!
