Pet care experience
I’m a fan of jazz and blues, as well as an avid sailboater, but most of all, I’m an animal lover. I grew up with a cat and a cute little Schipperke named Skipper. Once I was on my own, I couldn’t imagine not having a dog in my life! For several years, I raised a Black Lab, and now I share my life with a playful Pomsky named Nala. Meeting a new animal is one of my favorite things in the world, so of course I became a pet-sitter. I hope I get to meet your dog soon! Just like most dogs, I’m extroverted and active. I enjoy going for morning runs here in Skyline, a neighborhood that is very dog-friendly, with an off-leash park and a playground nearby. In the evenings, I’m out exploring the local music scene. My friends often pop by my place, bringing their dogs along for a playdate with Nala. My home is great for dogs. I have a fully equipped indoor play area. My backyard is fenced, and big, and I supervise their play to make sure they’re safe and having a good time. And Nala—15 pounds of fun—loves making friends with new dogs. If your dog stays with me, they’re bound to make some new pals, furry and otherwise!
Reviews
Aaron took such great care of our cattle dog Foxy while we were away for the weekend. She's a rescue so she can be a bit timid especially during thunderstorms. Aaron was very kind and took great care of her and comforted her during a stormy weekend. She got lots of play time, pets, and trips to the dog park. We have complete confidence that she received excellent care with Aaron and loved all the photo updates. We highly recommend Aaron!
Aaron was beyond phenomenal with Cotswold! He asked plenty of questions beforehand and made sure he understood the care instructions correctly and that she was going to have a similar routine like she does at home. He kept me up to date with pictures and was quick to respond whenever I reached out to him. Aaron definitely made this mom feel like her furbaby was in a safe place and great hands! His pup, Nala is so well trained and wonderful with Cotswold (got some adorable pictures of them being besties). Definitely got an exhausted pup after my mini vacation. Thank you, Aaron! Would definitely book again with you!
Aaron was a wonderful sitter for our two cats. It was reassuring to have the prompt updates and he was always quick to respond when we emailed. Thanks Aaron for taking such good care of Teddy and Rosie!
Perfect as always! Aaron and Nala are the perfect hosts and my pup just loves them both! Aaron is great at communicating and send lots of pics and updates. He’s always the first person I check with when we need a sitter. Thanks for everything, Aaron!

Information Aaron H. would like to know about your pet
I’m most experienced with dogs under 40 pounds, though I have owned a larger dog in the past and am happy to give the big ones plenty of exercise. Your dog should be well socialized around other dogs—not only do I have my own dog, but the neighbors’ dogs may also stop by from time to time, especially on the weekends.
A typical day
Your dog’s day will begin much like mine—with a mile-long run here in Skyline, followed by a healthy breakfast. Then we’ll play in my backyard. In the evening, we might explore an off-leash park nearby, or head to the park to play fetch. I’m a firm believer in giving every dog positive reinforcement, as well as tons of love and patience—just like I treat my own dog. I like to engage their curiosity by teaching them new tricks, especially if I have them more than a couple of days. So by the time you get your furry friend back, they might be fully crate-trained, or shaking hands. I’ve discovered that many dogs love music, and as a musician, I’ll discover what tunes soothe your little friend. (Nala adores piano jazz.)
