Currently I work part time from home so have plenty of time during the week to make home visits and wander into the wilds! Due to my rota I will need notice to make sure I can accommodate your needs but will do my best to do so 😊

All pets will be treated as part of the family 😊 Unfortunately I can no longer offer daycare but at your home I will make sure to make minimal disruptions to your pets’ usual routine and keep them as comfortable as possible. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos, and also to accommodate rodents large or small!

A typical day
I’m a wanderer myself and really value dogs taking part in their adventures! I keep tug toys and balls on hand to play with on route and your dog will have plenty of time to sniff as they please and explore.

Pet care experience
After growing up with labradors and a cat, it’s hard not to love animals. I took care of the family pets until I left home and also worked in a cattery for 2 years tending to moggies from all backgrounds. Since then I’ve volunteered part time dog walking in Angus and adopted a hamster who lived for a beautiful 21 months. I used to work in mental health but am now studying my PhD looking to develop support for autistic students experiencing anxiety around school.

A huge thank you to Kat for looking after Fergus. This was very short notice and all went. I was nervous for both Fergus and Kat as he is still very young and a bit unpredictable. Kat is extremely caring and calm. She sent me a photo of him curled up and relaxed which immediately put my mind at rest. I would not hesitate to have Kat back in our home looking after Fergus again. Thank you.
Kat looked after our tabby cat Eddie with great care an empathy again. We are so grateful to be able to leave him in such good hands. He looks forward to seeing her and snuggling on her lap during his visits. She is careful to feed him, leave water, play with his toys with him, find him when he goes wandering! Her visits are done with great consideration and foresight. She is a trusted carer for Eddie and we hope to see her again. Thanks Kat.
Kat looked after my cat poppy well for 4 nights and kept me up dated. When I was.away .with photos & to let me know how poppy was doing and also looked after my house .poppy enjoyed.her company & I will definitely use kat again
