Just got something similar. Very strange wording and wanted to text out of Rover right away. Which doesn't always mean anything bad, some people use it on their laptop. But after that it was all strange wording and just asking for my full name and address so he can fedex me payment for services:D Anyway, totally weird. Now I recommended to do a meet and greet and I have not heard back, and also said I am not comfortable with this and his answer was: okey. Reported it to Rover.

totally agree! Also, how dangerous that is taking pictures while walking. I have people ask me not to use my phone, which I never really do anyway, while walking cause their pup picks up everything. This is idiotic that they demand sending these.

I am just simply not comfortable of any kind of app following my location. This is my privacy. Is there no trust anymore in people? I think those walkers should fall out of the system who do not do their job right.

Such as with any other app you can switch off locations. They should not be able to force anyone to actually provide such information to them unwillingly.

Do you have these experiences?

I often get requests from people, who, after the meeting, just disappear.I ask politely to let me know even if they don't want to go with me. They seemingly want to book, dogs get along, we get along, all seems fine. In the meantime, I am probably turning down people cause that booking would make my place full.

I totally agree! I think this should purely be just for sitters to review for ourselves and it should be affecting the search of owners. Also, I have very good scores right now, but two of them, review rate and repeat scores are showing 0 or N/A at the moment. Which is not correct. So I fear I am losing bookings. A week or two ago, I got one sometimes two requests a day. I got 2 this week. IT is a significant fall in the requests!!!
