With some dogs (including my own) using a harness can entice the dog to continue pulling. I have read up on prong collars which seem to be safer than a choke or martingale. |

| commented question | My puppy now runs from me when i take him to go potty so I decided to use his leash but now he wont go to the bathroom & will go on the carpet right when we get inside help? To get the leash on your pup crouch down to his level normally it will entice the puppy to come towards you. With my puppy he didnt want to go outside either. I used a leash and stood in one spot. They do get bored eventually and will use the bathroom then praised accordingly! |
