I find dog owners have trouble understanding how to complete a booking or they complain the Rover system won't respond to their attempts to book. By that time I've arranged to take the dog, the dog owner is depending on me to mind their dog when they are away... and so they get free dog minding. And Rover are you listening?: you get no fee. Your service has managed to very efficiently link a willing dog minder to a needful dog owner, terrific! But then it fails to complete the transaction. I don't think those getting free dog minding are trying to cheat me, or you Rover. But the failure to have an easy to understand booking procedure and good internet connections means it is hit or miss whether I get paid (and whether you, Rover get paid.) |
