They will pee when they are submitting to their owner or another figure that they see as dominant. If this is the case they should not be reprimanded because it could reinforce the behavior. If ignored they usually grow out of it. Also a UTI could be the culprit. Maybe they have to go frequently and cannot hold it between outside time. Another reason could be a weak bladder. Are you letting the dog out often enough. When they are forced to hold it for long periods of time their bladder can weaken. Less common reasons could be due to neurological conditions. If your dog is experiencing other symptoms you may want to bring them to the Vet. |
