answered a question Is this profile trustworthy or a scam?

I remember a Peter in Tampa that wasted my time in the last month with saying he needed me, asked my rates, then moved on. I get an influx of these every month and some even book, then refuse to answer the phone or show up at all. I lose money this way, because they tie up my calendar.

I honestly can't see the whole URL so I'm thinking these folks may be either spammers, or our comepetion (unprofessional "businesses") who are scouting us out for how much we charge or how we work, where we are located, etc. It stinks and I implore Rover to work with us more to help us report fake profiles.

commented answer What do you do when dealing with full-on Rover profiles/potential clients, who after your meet-n-greet, want to negotiate you down (even though your rates are super fair and competitive) and/or want to pay you much cheaper in cash?

Me too, Jessica...they usually offer me more to go off-site because they know Rover charges us fees also. These are all great answers and I upvoted them all! I actually had a runner, also and that probably is as good a reason as any to have Rover's assistance. Thanks for the reminder.

answered a question Is there a way to send a client a video of their pet?

Yes, there is..I did it the other day, in fact, when I fed the owner's young birds, to show her how it went the first day. I made it on my iPhone, then sent it through text message to her direct Rover number, not the app. It worked. The app said "this is blank" so apparently it can't be done on the app, but long ones can be sent via text.

...anyway, the upside is, if you don't live in a hot area and your clients are okay with it, go for it. Let the pooch parents have a choice in their dogs getting the outdoor playtime, based on breed needs. Brachi breeds that are heat intolerant can have the most indoor time.

I have only provided care so far (in the past twenty-five years) to one family at a time. So maybe I'm not the best judge of this, but many families do choose based on personalized service. Also, many breeds, especially if you live in a hot climate, can't be outdoors during the hot parts of the day.
