| commented question | Why doesn't Rover let Sitters share info about dogs? Thank you for starting this thread. I am taking care of a dog that the owners said had just finished her heat (which is untrue -or they are clueless). I let the dog sleep in the bed with me - she is a Jack Russell & super sweet but I woke up to blood spots all over. Hope the blood comes out. Bummer |

| asked a question | Dog won't stop whining or settle down? I had a 7 yr old Greyhound dropped off today. During the meet and greet he was very mellow and the owner assured me that he does not bark and he is great left alone etc. He is "breeder" for "show Greyhounds" so she assured me he is awesome to house sit. Not so - he is so stressed - he keeps panting, whining and barking - nothing helps and he is freaking MY dog out - she is hiding in the bedroom. Not sure what to do (and the owner is out of town until Sunday) I've done treats, walks, outside pay times, sat with him on the couch etc. Any ideas? thanks |
| commented answer | Is it ok that I turned down a client because it was a pit bull and I have a 7 year old daughter? I personally love pitbulls and have had the best experience with them it's a shame people are so judgmental. that said you can always note in the about you section that you have chosen to not watch this breed. I mentioned in my section that I accept all breeds. |
