I visited a couple of sitters before choosing one. In one instance I was very disturbed by the conditions in the sitter's home and yard. It was very unsafe and unsanitary, her other (many) dogs had severe skin problems and other issues that indicated lack of care (one dog had nails over 1 inch long which were twisted due to interfering with walking and was limping). There was mud in and out of the house that the resident dogs freely tracked in and out, and the interior smelled of drugs.

The dogs did not look hungry or physically abused, but they were very neglected medically and hygienically.

Is there a process for reporting such a sitter?
