asked a question | how do I earn treats? are there perks that come with treats? How do I earn the treats and why do I want to do so? |
answered a question | Overnight Service Clarification? Thanks for great input, everyone. As a new sitter, I am still refining definitions too. I've been charging for walks, drop-ins during the day IN ADDITION to my rate for staying overnight. As a newbie, I started low: $25 to stay overnight, plus $12 to $15 per walk (if it's more than down the street and back) or drop-in . I may have to re-think rate structure . . . |
commented answer | How do I handle a large dog that lays down during walks? Very creative! Another great idea to add to my dog-walking knowledge. |
commented answer | How do I handle a large dog that lays down during walks? Love this idea. Great tip -- thanks. I haven't had this problem yet, but will keep in mind |
answered a question | Is it necessary to stay overnight for House Sitting? I've always assumed that 'housesitting' meant I was staying overnight, but a recent inquiry told me that not everyone is clear about that, as she asked "what does housesitting entail?" I'm still new as a Rover sitter, but already have several weeks booked for overnight stays this summer. I haven't offered plant watering or taking trash cans out to the curb, but maybe I should consider those as additional services? Just thinking out loud here, folks.... |
