Anyone else experience owners telling you at the last minute or drop off that their dog pees a lot or marks or is not potty trained although they stated otherwise on the rover website? It's getting frustrating bc of people being dishonest. I could prepare for a dog with certain behaviors or issues if owners were more honest and open.

I make sure I protect the dog from the noise by blocking his sight from the noise, ie kid screaming, lawnmower, motorcycle...telling him that it is ok, and once he gets past it or as he's moving past it, reassure him that he's ok and a good boy.....repeating its ok and good boy. Every time he does that and I pet him and make eye contact with reassurance.

I think the insurance alone is so very well worth it! I have an amazing growing business just from rover clients.

I usually plan everything around the dogs stay and do not leave for longer than an hour or two. I separate my dogs from the guest dogs while I am away. They are all inside and very well taken care of. I wouldnt feel right leaving them for long periods because I let the owners know that their dog is my top priority. Everything I do is geared towards the dog and its care.

I had i idea about the consent form. Here u thought if we had an emergency we go to the ER and I pay a $250 deductible and all else is covered.... Did not know about the consent form. Thank you
