answered a question | Using rover app on Android? Watch the tutorial. But also be cautious as to how many photos you post on the card. It will take up GB on your android!!!! Even clearing the cache doesn't help much. I am waiting for someone to get back to me as to the removal of former client (ie: older Rover Cards from 2016) |
commented question | Should we tip our dog sitter? Absolutely! Doesn't even need to be monetary. We enjoy a note, gift card, or a great review. |

asked a question | Can you delete old Rover Cards on your phone app? The cards are eating up a ton of GBs on my internal drive (due to the photos, etc...) Can my older cards be deleted? If so how? |

commented answer | How can I obtain more badges for my profile? I hope they change that. Most of my clients ran the search on their cell phones. Rover should have that corrected. :) |
commented question | Why does my dog have bloody diarrhea? Get the dog to the vet ASAP. Or call and take a stool sample. It could be serious, or not so. But don't take the chance. Also, withhold food for a day, and feed crushed ice. Try chicken and rice, boiled. |
commented question | people not showing up when they say they will? Charge Them Extra. Like they do at child day care........! They'll get the hint. |
commented question | Does anyone use car magnets or decals for Rover? I agree with Kathy. My promo code is so small. People go to Rover and don't even bother inquiring HOW to use. I have to contact Rover after my people already booked. |
asked a question | FLORIDA GEORGIA FLU? Certain vets in my area are NOT taking the dogs with the new H3N2 through the front door. You need to call ahead. Boarding is now limited as is daycare Is anyone who is offering day care at their home aware of this?? and what precautions are you taking? I currently only drop in and walk. I wear rubber shoes and carry lysol and purell. This virus is easily transferrable. Both my clients started the series of the 2 step vaccine. Sharing bowls, toys, etc. is being heavily discouraged. FYI |
asked a question | Why do some sitters offer day care and several walks same day? Who is at their home watching the client day care dogs? Shouldn't this be limited? I only started to offer to my current client who works a 12 hour day. one time day care...... I actually hired someone last year, who is rated 5 stars, does walks all day, then leaves the day care dogs home unattended to go do several drop ins and walks. |
