answered a question | "Permanently deactivate sitting service?" Can I reactivate at a later time? I called Rover support. In fact, the 'deactivate permanently' simply means not putting the service as away. I was told that my profile would remain intact, and I would be able to reinstate my boarding service easily by just turning it back on. I won't appear in search results and existing clients won't be able to message me, but past stays can message me through the archived or past booking. |

answered a question | How long does it take for the background check to process? I have been waiting for 2 weeks? My check took at least a week. Mind you I was signing up during a non-peak season. We're coming up to summer which means more people are signing up to be sitters as the coming months are peak season. You may just be caught in a queue |
asked a question | "Permanently deactivate sitting service?" Can I reactivate at a later time? I'm moving to a new apartment where I won't be able to continue sitting in my house. When I go to turn off the service it says "Do you want to permanently deactivate your Dog Boarding service?" and then a few other disclaimers for me to confirm I agree to. I'm currently a renter and my living situation may change in the future and I may be able to restart sitting in my home. But for at least the next year, I will not be sitting in my home. My questions are: if I turn off dog boarding, will I be able to turn it back on easily? Will I lose the reviews I've accrued? Basically, if I'd like to start boarding again in the future will turning off boarding now create problems later on? Am I better off leaving it set as away? |
