commented answer | I have 4 available drop-in spaces per day, but some days showing that I'm already full with 2 drop-ins?? Thank you for responding. That's what I've been trying to fix and not sure why it's happening. I have the settings adjusted and should have 2 more spaces available on the day it's showing full. I'll try contacting support :) |
answered a question | WHY IS IT WHEN i CHECKED UNDER DOG BOARDING FOR OUR ZIP CODE > 28037....WE CAME UP IN 11TH PLACE....we have great reviews, a low price......there are sitters showing up in Charlotte(1st) & Huntersville which are miles away ??? My rank was down there as well until recently, I started responding to booking requests within minutes, increasing my radius of service, and also booking almost all of my requests. Now I'm showing up as #1 or #2. It seems like many things factor into the algorithm. It has seriously helped. I'm constantly getting contacted by new clients now! Best of luck! |
asked a question | I have 4 available drop-in spaces per day, but some days showing that I'm already full with 2 drop-ins?? I checked my calendar, and for the next couple of days, it states I have 2/2* drop-ins booked, when I'm supposed to have 2/4 spaces. I don't have any other pending requests for that day and made sure I have everything else archived. Why is this happening? |

commented question | Today is the first day I'm house sitting for a dog and since I've entered the apartment, she's been barking and hiding under the couch. What should I do? You can try rolling a piece of sausage under the couch without you going too near. If she eats it, you can make a little sausage trail for her to come out. Once she's out, don't go towards her. Hold some sausages in your hand so she can see it and wait until she comes to you. |
commented question | Today is the first day I'm house sitting for a dog and since I've entered the apartment, she's been barking and hiding under the couch. What should I do? Sometimes the best thing to do is to ignore. A fearful and anxious dog will feel threatened when feeling cornered and have no escape route. Hold some really smelly treats in your hand and keep your distance. Distance in dog language means respect. Don't make eye contact. Do you know what she likes? |
asked a question | Drop-in times show up in booking request? I'm a sitter, but wanted to see what the booking process was like for my clients. So I pretended to book a request and noticed there were options to put in the requested drop-in times. However, I don't see any of this when I get the requests, so I have always asked my clients what time(s) they needed me to come over. Can I find this information somewhere without having to ask them again? What is the point of them providing so much detail if it's not shown? |
