My dogs like treats, and I like to know what they are getting. We currently slice, and dehydrate sweet potatoes. What are some other easy, cheap treats I can make at home?

My dog doesn't pull hard, but he's always ahead, and there is no slack in the leash.

Are these pretty loud? My dog is a bit of a wimp and scares easily, but I've heard these are easier thank clipping nails for certain dogs.

I know a vet can do a good cleaning, but I don't want my dog put under. In our last city there was a program where they would swaddle small dogs, or clean large dogs teeth on their backs. It was a very thorough cleaning, and we were giving a report on each tooth after. There were no drugs involved, and it was way more cost friendly. Is there anything like this in Seattle?

I'd like to be proactive, brushing, teeth cleaning, and hopefully no rotten teeth in old age.

In Colorado we only had to use tick treatments during tick season in the mountains. Do we need to worry about fleas, or ticks year round in Seattle?

New to the city, and would like to know what some great dog parks are.

My dog is always very nervous in the car. Lip licking, yawning, and shaking. We always take him fun places, and he'll get in on his own, but I know he hates it. We've tried giving him treats, but he wont take them in the car.

I don't think my dog would eat a tree, but if they decided to nibble on it, would it be harmful?

Our dogs are very active with us, and get very muddy. Is bathing them once a week ok?

I don't want to cut in to the quik and have him bleed.

He's so little and squirmy, and even though the doggie toothpaste is chicken flavored, he hates it.
