answered a question Dog to adopt PUGGLE!??

One thing to consider, is pugs and pug mixes are notorious for health problems. Ask any vet tech or vet, and they will likely tell you that pugs have more health problems than any other breed on average. A lot has to do with the the physiology. Pugs have sideways veins, constant problems with breathing and eyes, and a lot of other quirks. Just keep in mind that you may have to deal with some major vet bills, which can be the case with any breed, but pugs are in a different category than many dogs. I say this as a vet tech and aspiring vet, never an owner.

answered a question Why does my 4 month old Dachshund whine when I give him a busy bone and looks for a place to hide it and other times he just chews until it is gone?

When a dog doesn't want to eat something, his pack instinct tells him to hide or bury it so he will have it when he is hungry. You will notice your dogs try to hide things under rugs or blankets, or even when it looks like they are trying to dig on a rug or carpet or a bed, they just want to stash it for later. This is why. Also, plenty of dogs really do bury things in holes.
