I am hosting a dog at my place this summer for just under two months - 4 more weeks to go - and while he is very sweet, he is not house trained and this has turned my living situation into a very complicated one. He continues to ignore wee-wee pads and goes everywhere in the house. I have a dog and my landlord and roommate has a dog as well. They are both incredibly well behaved and trained, so it's a stark contrast. I am going to incur a ton of costs like dry cleaning bills and carpet cleaners and leather reupholstery. I am incredibly stressed by this and am thinking of how it might be possible to bring up relocating the little guy to a nice safe new home nearby in coordination with the owner however she prefers? I don't know, regardless of the money, it's just not a situation I expected to be in and have never dealt with this as a Rover sitter. I am wondering if anyone has had an experience where they wanted or needed to find a safe new home for a dog they were watching?
