I mean if she goes to term he could get the money out of the pups. It just seems weird to want cash now instead of keeping litter and selling.

I didn't say she was fixed I said that she hasn't been in heat yet. Kinda thought that with saying she hasn't had a heat that there wouldn't be a worry for it. I know see I should of been clear. I did edit my profile after this happened for future people. didn't think things would happen like this.

Everyone I meet I let them know that she's a puppy and hasn't been in heat yet. I've though about getting her fixed but my vet said to wait till she's a year because big dogs take longer to go into heat. Yes it was another german shepherd because he asked if I though about breeding her and I said no

She went into her first heat on the second night the dog was here. No I did not tell anyone my dog is intact as it says it on my profile. Which they should of read. And if she goes to term I'm not keeping or selling they will be given away. Even offered the guy the whole litter but he said no

It was her first heat at 10 months he got her the first day. I was trying to get her diaper on her when it happened, both of them flew off running around and when I tried to separate them he snipped at me. Like I said she has not had a heat and this was her first.

My question is if Im watching a male dog and he gets my dog pregnant and I responsible for paying the owner of the male dog the money he wants for a "stud" fee? Its not that I left the dogs along its the fact that once there locked you cant pull them apart. So would I have to pay the owner the amount he is asking or pay him at all?

It depends on the dogs. The first two days I separate everyone at bedtime. I ask owners before sitting if its ok to crate there dog or leave them in 1 or my 2 spare bedrooms. Everyone I have asked didn't mind. After the second night depending on the dog I would. Example my german shepherd did great with another female shepherd and they would cuddle together at night but I gave them the first two nights alone so that they could get to know each other and I'm home all day and pay close attention to how they react. Example 2. My german shepherd did not like a Chihuahua because she would bite my dog all the time and run off. Its the breed so I could not let them be alone. Especially after the dog nipped at my 4 year old and my shepherd was ready to hurt the little dog after nipping our child. Ask owner and give them space at first and go from there. Dogs always act different when there new people and places around.

I was watching a small dog and when I asked the owner if there was anything I needed to know about her dog she said no. No allergies, no aggression with cats, no accidents in house. Well I put the dog roam my room the first 2 days and nothing happened. The third day she went under my bed and pulled out all of my heals and chewed them up, the dog then somehow manages to get my mail off my sink in my bathroom and shreds it. (bills that I have not open like Tolls) I know do not have any information to call about my bills and I even tried putting the paper back together. After this I put her in a crate when ever I'm not home. The fourth day I was mopping and washing dishs and let her out of crate to play. She then goes into my daughters room( which ive fussed at her for leaving her door open because I was worried that maybe this dog would chew her toys) and pulls down my daughters old cast which was just taken off from her broke arm which is healed now and ATE the cast!!! Then turned around and chewed her hairbrush into tiny pieces. I know dogs chew. That's why I always keep them in separate rooms to see who does what and I move all items that I don't want broke. (I have a German shepherd and I'm use to her tail sweeping stuff off the table.) The woman to this dog said that she has never chewed her stuff up and she didn't know why she would. I would like to believe she is responsible for the chewing because she stated that she has chewed a little bit of stuff and that's why she crates her when she is not home. She told me that the day before she picked up her dog. The dog also did have many accidents in the house.... but it was litter trained and locked in her room and decided to poop and pee on bed. I don't care its old and going to the trash. I feel like I was lied to just so she could get a sitter because no one else would take the dog. Is she responsible for damages? She gave me $10 cash and said here's compensation for what she chewed up..... it should of been 200 for 8 pairs of shoes, bills that I now have to call to see if they sent anything, I cant replace my daughters cast, hairbrush...whatever dollar store. To me that was just a sign of guilt because she knew she lied.
