The background check is required, right? I have a vandalism misdemeanor charge from years ago, right after I graduated high school, for spray painting. Does this mean I definitely cant be a sitter? It hasn't held me back from getting jobs yet, most employers have just kinda laughed when they heard what the offense was. I don't want to pay for the background check if this misdemeanor will automatically disqualify me anyways.
