Thanks, it seems like that link is quite long I should have clarified that I’m asking if there’s a short link, like just rover.com / my company name- Thanks!

asked a question What link to put on my rover business cards?

Hey yall,

I'm finally getting around to making some professional cards. I'm not using the default Rover cards but going through vista print.

My question is what link do I put on the card so that clients can be sent directly to my profile page?

For those who have business cards, what other information do you put on them?

Thanks! XOXO

(again, I'm not interested in using the default white and green cards found in the rover store)

asked a question Potty Probs?

Hi all, I'm a in home boarding sitter and across the board, all the small dogs we've watched have not been potty trained. I'm not talking, in a strange new environment so they have a stress accident- i'm talking will walk them, take them out, watch them like a hawk and they'll pee & poop the first thing back in the house. I'm so frustrated and understand that I am a dog sitter, but the larger dogs we watch (literally its the big vs little here) are ALL potty trained and have never had an accident.

My question is, how do you talk to the owner when this happens? Do you just politely say: "we've been having trouble with buddy going potty inside, any tips to make sure he goes outside" or is it a hard no for watching them again? I feel a lot of my clients take advantage of our kindness, and deliberately do not disclose that the dog isn't house trained- yes, I ask, yes, they tell me "of course i just take her out twice a day". Not to mention, potty cleaner is EXPENSIVE.

Sincerely, I rent my apartment and they're ruining the floors.

asked a question Drop Off & Pick Up Procedure?

Hey all, I'm writing with more of an open ended interest in what your drop offs and pick ups look like. (i.e.: etiquette) If you'd be so kind as to write a brief overview of yours, I'd so appreciate it!

I'm trying to get a general guideline on what is polite and leaves a good impression. I'm always very very friendly and professional, but I have to be honest, after watching their dog for two days, I'm not super inclined to invite them in, stand around and talk, etc.

Please be respectful in responses, I have seen many forums posts on here that have been met with aggression, I hope to avoid that type of behavior. XO

Thanks for your kindness Carly! It's SO relieving to know I'm not the only one who occasionally pulls a "throw n go".

asked a question Best Practices for Apartment Boarding?

Hi all, I'm new to Rover, but am on my 5th booking. I've always kind of felt out each client, so drop offs and pick ups look different, etc. When I meet clients I usually A: allow dogs to meet outside, B: then invite them into my house, "show them around", C: use a baby gate to keep my pup in his playroom to allow guest dog to feel safe to roam.

I live in a nice apartment, and work really hard to keep things clean, but a lot of times between work, dog classes, and life's activities, it's not as easy as it seems. I always clean up before a dog comes, but I find myself SO ANXIOUS that a dog owner will make judgement against my apartment. I understand that I have made a choice to invite them into my home by hosting on rover, please don't mistake this question, I am not complaining, I Just want to provide the best service possible.

My question is, what are YOUR best practices around keeping home "show ready" and spotless, meet and greet procedures, pick ups-drop offs. I've searched forum high and low, but havent found any candid advice on these general best practices.
