When I have dogs here so far only one will start whining and sometimes barking when you leave the room whether the dog is in the crate or not. The dog is fine when I am in the room usually working. But as soon as i leave the room for a moment he starts whining. He does not destroy anything. He just whines. Once i reenter the room he is fine. What can i do?

What has been your own experience? My dog is fine when meeting and greeting at a park. When client dogs are with me the dogs are separated. My goal is to have my dog and the client dog to get along and be able to play and sit next to each other just like I see on http://Rover.com. I want to make my dog realize the dogs I care for are not permanent. They are our guests.

I am scheduled to meet an owner and her not neutered dog. I am not sure about dogs which are not neutered. Aren't those dogs more aggressive and territorial by marking inside and outside. That concerns me as well as how my spayed dog will be.

I want to dog sit and welcome dogs in my home. Since my dog does not welcome other dogs in her home, have any of you sitters had an instance where they got along at a park but once the dog you were sitting for is inside your home, your dog does growls or tries to snap? What did you do? There is nothing worse than to have a stressful dog.

i don't think a dog park would work. i tried that. the dogs may get along at the park because that is not my dog's home and territory. Once a dog is in her home she does not like it. She is not welcoming other dogs in her home/pack.

I was able to find an answer by typing in Cesar Millan and introducing new dog to home and other dogs. Basically, if the dogs do not except the new dog in the pack then it is not going to work. Which is what my dog is doing.

My dog is not used to other dogs in our home. She does not get along with other dogs. She is protective, jealous, and will even growl. How may I get that behavior to stop? I would love to welcome other dogs in my home.
