| commented answer | Why does my dog roll in other animals' poop? I had a dog that did this. It was gross. What I learned is that this is the way a roaming dog/wolf could communicate to the pack. Since they can't speak to each other, bringing back a scent is a way to say "Hey guys, there's another dog (or cat or squirrel) around". |
