| asked a question | Advice on House Sitting Protocol? I just got my first request for house sitting (I've done mostly drop-in and walking thus far) for two dogs and a cat! The owner is wondering about if it is the rate per dog per night, and that has always been my understanding. For drop-in visits/walking I don't normally charge for an extra dog since it is more or less the same amount of work. From experiences of other sitters, is it reasonable to charge $29/dog/night (that was the recommended rate when I signed up as a sitter) and then the cat as only like $12/cat/night? Just seems a little low for it to be $29/night for 3 animals... Thoughts and advice welcome! |
