answered a question | Has anyone itemized expenses for taxes here? Another thing you can keep track of are home repair expenses. If you have a yard that the dogs will be using and you make any upgrades or maintenance expenses; ie: fences, gates, play pools, artificial turf, flea spray, puppy cams, wet weather rugs -- just to name a few things. |
answered a question | Does anybody know what the "off peak" seasons are? To be honest, I was fully booked for 2015 and have booking well in to 2016 already. I wasn't excepting to have so many back to back stays. It was a good thing. I just hope I'm just as busy this year too |
answered a question | Paypal says I have no tax documents for 2015. Does this mean I do not owe taxes on rover? They have till Feb 1st to send out any tax documents |
answered a question | Fellow sitters, how do you like the updated calendar? I wish the calendar listed the bookings on the dates so i dont have to keep bouncing from the calendar page to the "upcoming page" to see who's coming/going/needs walked/ect |

answered a question | After Stay: Thank you/goodie bags? I do a little baggy too! I like to burn a CD with all the extra photos/videos I didn't send them via rover. For stays over 3 days I love to make clay foot prints (if the dog lets me touch it's toes). long stays give the prints time to dry. I also include treat samples for our local dog bakery (Jackboy's dog Bakery) and a sample of Honest Kitchen dog food. And if the dog keeps going to one toy from the toy pile over and over again... I like to let them take it home with them. The owners get the biggest kick out of it and they all tend to book again soon! |
answered a question | What dog breed is the best off leash? To be honest, if the dog isn't your own dog never walk with it off leash. Even if the owner allows it -- if some thing where to happen that dog might not respond to you like it would the owner. And any dog off leash becomes a liability to you and any one around you. |
commented answer | What dog breed is the best off leash? You are correct about sight hounds. I have two greyhounds and they never go off leash. As soon as a sight hound see some thing move off in the distance they are gone. |
