There are some "dog" lotions/skin care products. Always consult your vet. I know a dab of coconut oil for the pads of the feet helps if they seem to be dry or cracking.

I've taken a pair of nice scissors to trim my mutts fur from the top of the head so she could see until she saw a Groomer. It wasn't a lot, I'm sure if you brush and bathe first you can do some trimming! Definitely don't try anything more than you are comfortable with that way you or your pup don't get hurt!

Could be the dog is scared or cold? If something odd is triggering the chattering perhaps a visit to the vet just to be certain nothing is wrong!

There is a setting for charging additional at a lower rate. Like 30 for the first dog and 15 for each additional dog. Then you can set a cat rate etc. if you don't do that it charges the 30 (or your set rate) per dog.

If you are really worried and your pup is still walking funny I'd take it in to be x-rayed at the vet!

It depends on age range and is definitely a topic to bring up with your dogs vet as several medical issues can cause this symptom.

Certain breeds have curved/curly tails. Is this question in regards to that or the fur being curly? If it's a mixed breed pooch there could definitely be a bit of unexpected curly fur in different spots of the dogs coat.

I know as a sitter a lot of dogs in a new environment will need a day or so to adjust before they eat. It's something I expect from new guests. My regulars are used to my home by now so any signs of not eating I watch closely for. I call concierge if I need to or even reach pet parents for tips.

I know the Red Cross offered Pet First Aid and CPR courses! I haven't looked in a while to see if they still do. Out here in Vegas the community college has a workshop for it as they have courses needed for certain pet related certifications.
