asked a question Any experience with male dog "leaking" after urinating?

I've noticed recently that my in-tact male dog (about 5 years old) has been leaking after he pees... he'll run out into the yard and spend 5 or 10 minutes there and when he comes back to the gate it's almost like he didn't finish peeing.

He used to be an outdoor dog until a few months ago, and he definitely prefers being inside to going outside -- he always does his business and comes straight back which makes me wonder if this is just his way of saying "okay mommy i peed take me back in now" without actually finishing or if this might be a medical issue or just something that happens?

answered a question Dog destroyed bedspread--how to handle ??

I had a very similar thing happen to me, except this dog threw up all over the bed! I immediately texted her owner and let her know what had happened. She actually apologized to me for her pup's mess, and I asked her about washing it, etc. As long as you're up front about any issues, I've found that most pet parents are actually thrilled you take responsibility and keep them up to date on everything that's going on. It helps them to build trust in you and know that you're willing to handle whatever happens while they're away.

answered a question Sitter to sitter. My pricing is per night per dog. So does anyone discount the 2nd or more dogs?

It depends on the stay for me. Usually, I don't discount if there's only two dogs. Once it starts getting to three, four, five, etc, then I consider a discount. Also, if I've stayed with a particular pup multiple times, then I tend to give discounts. I make new clients aware of this when they ask about pricing -- I explain that I usually charge 20 a night per dog (or whatever my price is at the time) for the first stay because I'm still not entirely sure what I'm expecting and some dog situations may have unexpected complications. I'm more willing to give a discount the second time around if I know what I'm signing up for completely!

answered a question Any suggestions on how to stop puppy mouthing and play biting?

A high pitched OUCH is usually best. Puppies usually play fight with their litter mates and learn pretty quickly what sounds mean they need to cut it out and be more gentle. Avoiding hand play altogether is also pretty helpful -- use toys instead! The older a dog gets the more frightening/painful its biting can be especially to a small child or someone who is a little nervous around dogs. If they think its okay to chew even gently it can seriously damage their relationship with people who aren't so comfortable with that!
