answered a question My dog drank coffee, will he be okay?

If your dog gets in your coffee, just monitor them. But more than likely they'll be fine.

answered a question Is blue buffalo good dog food?

It's not a bad dog food, but there have been tons of controversy regarding it recently. Also, they have had multiple recalls. It is most likely better than other dog foods, like the ones you find in a grocery store. But if you do some research there are plenty of better options. But the most healthy dog food out there is always raw feeding, so if you have the time to research that. It can easily be cheaper than the best dog foods, and is actually superior to all of them.

but do your research, Fromm's food is very highly rated, if you aren't looking for raw, but it isn't cheap.

answered a question Why does my dog smell like fish?

This points to the yucky problem of needing to empty your dog's anal glands! These glands are meant to secrete fluid, but sometimes they can get blocked or infected. This can lead to many issues, so check with your vet or learn how to empty them yourself using youtube videos or other how-tos.

answered a question What should I do if my dog bit me?

I'd need more details of the situation, was he/she biting aggressively? Is she vaccinated for rabies? Unless the bite was severe and she is vaccinated, just clean the wound thoroughly and monitor for infection. You will be fine, I've been bitten many times!

In order to give advice on training, I'd need more information on the situation and your dog's behavior.

answered a question What should I do if my dog has a cold?

If she has a cold, benedryl is safe for dogs but whenever I try it it's completely ineffective. But every dog is different, give her some boiled chicken, rest, lots of water and a warm area to sleep. It should go away on it's own, but if the symptoms worsen take her to your vet, there are deadly dog flus that have taken many many dog's lives.

Good luck! :)

answered a question What should I do if my dog has diarrhea?

Yes, she might have eaten something that upset her belly, it happens to the best of us! When it happens to my dog we just tried to keep her hydrated and were patient. Once she gets whatever made her sick out of her system, she should be fine.

After a couple days I'd say give it 3, I'd go to your vet!

commented answer What is the ratio of problem dogs you have had?

I'm having this problem right now, severe seperation anxiety. This dog is driving me insane, we can't sleep or leave the house to do check ins. The owner said he will whine then go lay down. We left the house for an hour and a half and it ate up the bottom of our DOOR. Never stays quiet, alwaysloud

asked a question Unfriendly dog staying over?

I got two requests from two owners, the earlier one was of a dog who i was told, doesn't like other dogs. Isn't overly aggressive but might snap at them. I'm relatively new to this, and it's obviously the holidays so i'll be having more than one dog at a time. The less friendly one is a female, and the other one is a 1 year old boy. It will be kind of hard to keep them seperated. Since they didn't tell me upfront i assumed they were friendly. We were supposed to have a meet and greet tomorrow. They seem like they really want me to watch their dog. I'm watching her for 2 days, the boy dog for 9 days.

I assume she will like him more since he's a boy. But he's a puppy and will probably be annoying

Any advice? I feel bad turning them away now
