A customer booked me for overnight stay. I told them I wasn't available for overnight stay but was available for drop in visits and they said that was fine. How do I change that on the booking request?

A customer sent me a request for an overnight stay. I told them that i was having trouble with the calendar function on http://rover.com and I actually wasn't available for overnight stays during the time he didn't. I informed him that I was available for drop in visits, and asked did his dog need someone to stay overnight with his dog. How do I now change the job from overnight stay to drop in visits?

I think you could cancel/decline the original overnight stay, then have the customer book a new stay for the drop in visits.

If this is a past customer, you can send a new booking request. by going to Past Stays- Book Again. If this is a new customer, you'll likely need Rover Support's help (probably can help w/ the calendar function too) although you could also message the customer and request they set up new booking, but it sounds like this customer may struggle a bit doing so.

Your drop in visit rate is $15 (whereas the overnight stay rate shows $35). So, hopefully you & customer discussed if it would be booked as number of visits X $15 each or there's possibility misunderstanding of it being booked at the overnight rate and the two of you agreeing to the time you would/would not stay there.
